An Organized Method of String Playing (Violoncello exercises for the left hand) by J. Starker

38 Pages | PDF | 8.95 MB
This book is mandatory for cellists, even if you're not a particular fan of Starker and his technique. It is "total fitness" for left hand, as well as a good way of warming up for a more productive practicing of repertoire and other studies.
As the title suggests, this is an organized way to learn the different finger positions. The level of difficulty increases as the book goes on. The comments about the exercises are also helpful. There is so much to learn besides the finger positions in this book!
